Customer Service Representative

Essential Functions


* Handling of incoming phone calls for pricing, lead times, expediting, literature, data sheets, etc.


* Processing of incoming orders and quote requests through our ERP system


* Handle requests and provide support, which can include



* Creation and maintenance of quotations


* Processing and expediting customer orders, verification of confirming orders


* Satisfying customer requests for literature, sales samples and technical information


* Communication to outside sales team for opportunities deserving additional attention


* Creation of purchase orders for drop ships, rush or special orders, entered on vendor websites, when required

Customer Service Support


* Filing, record keeping and database clean-up/maintenance


* Assist in the resolution of AR/AP discrepancy issues


* Assist with Product Integration Group order entry

Qualifications


* Required Education: High school or equivalent


* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)


* Ability to multi-task and familiarity with general office duties


* Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook


* Experience with Prophet 21 ERP system a plus


* Customer service experience is required with a positive attitude
