Administrative Assistant

Lancer Insurance Company, recognized as one of the nation's premier commercial auto insurance carriers, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in the Long Beach office location.

The position will work closely with multiple attorneys within the Legal Department.

This will be fully onsite initially and then available for a hybrid work schedule.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
 


* Provide high quality secretarial and administrative support to supervising attorneys


* Create, edit and proofread correspondence and legal documents for content, grammar, spelling, and formatting


* Assist with correspondence and filings with various regulatory entities and governmental bodies


* Perform calendar management; scheduling meetings and conference calls and record minutes as necessary; anticipate, identify, and resolve potential issue.


* Document management for corporate and litigation matters through electronic document and case management systems


* Process invoices


* Order supplies as needed

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:


* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel


* Notary public preferred


* Knowledge of CARET preferred

Experience:


* High School diploma or GED required


* 1+ years of relevant experience


* Strong communication and organizational skills

The expected pay range for the role is $45,000 - $50,000.  The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and experiences.    The disclosed pay range estimate may also be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
