TPA Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive TPA Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing assigned Third-Party-Administrators (TPAs) and their loss accounts, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions and reports.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


* Manage and oversee assigned TPAs and their loss accounts, performing essential departmental activities such as analysis, verification, and payment of loss reimbursement invoices


* Review prefunding requests from assigned TPAs, securing approval from the relevant Chubb business partners prior to funding


* Process payments in Accounts Payable / PeopleSoft, ensuring accuracy and timeliness


* Assess imprest amounts and take appropriate action, particularly in inactive accounts


* Provide support to fellow teammates on systems (internal & external), account reconciliations, & TPA issues


* Deliver timely and accurate information to internal/external stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships


* Evaluate, enhance and implement department processes and procedures for continual improvement


* Participate in clean-up and reconciliation efforts for historical accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness


* Compile and distribute departmental weekly and monthly reports


* Assist with or participate in ad hoc requests and any other responsibilities or projects as assigned


* Proactively identify leakage prevention opportunities and develop techniques for leakage prevention if not already establishedBachelor's degree in Risk Management or Business or related field


* One to two years of Property/ Casualty insurance or finance experience is preferred


* Proven experience in financial analysis, account management


* Superior analytical and problem solving skills


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data


* Strong collaboration and relationship building skills


* Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organizational and priority setting skills


* Must be a self-motivated learner that can work in a team environment


* Proficiency in Chubb systems, the Microsoft Suite (Word/Excel), Access databases and SharePoint


* If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure.

The pay range for the role is $62,200 to $105,800.

The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
