NDT Technician 1st shift

SUMMARY:

Perform non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company’s quality system, specifications and customer requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Record inspection, test data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based system


* Use of comparators, micrometers, scales and calipers


* Ensure completeness of work in process documentation


* Read, interpret and set up applicable NDT equipment


* Read and interpret all inspection data and customer requirements


* Maintain and promote “One Chromalloy” Core Values


* Maintain and promotes 5S standards in the work area


* Adhere to and promote Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties


* Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards


* Ensure compliance with Company Repair Station Manual/ Quality Manual        


* Analyze, Interpret, evaluate and document NDT inspection results in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications and procedures


* Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities


* Ensure compliance with Quality Manual

QUALIFICATIONS:



* Able to read and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence clearly and informatively


* High degree of professionalism with a focus on customer care


* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change


* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy


* Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team


* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral


* Strong computer skills



* Able to read, write, speak and understand English


* High School Diploma or GED preferred
