We are looking for a Scientist / Senior Scientist in the department of Translational Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and Investigative Toxicology (TPPIT) in Beerse, Belgium, to support small and large molecule drug discovery and development programs.

Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of in vitro ADME assays (drug transporters, enzyme induction, drug metabolism, plasma and tissue binding, cell permeability and ad hoc mechanistic studies) and contribute to project progression and decision making by providing high quality data and expert opinion to multi-disciplinary project teams.

In addition to project support, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop novel test systems and, in collaboration with biopharmaceutics teams, establish formulation-based delivery approaches to select molecules with a desired oral  bioavailability. 

We are a highly motivated team, and our laboratories are state-of-the-art.

As part of the global  Translational ADME community within TPPIT, you will have access to a large arsenal of in silico, in vitro and in vivo tools and the vast expertise of colleagues at our various research sites in Belgium and the United States.

Education requirement:


* MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology or a related field.

Experience and Skills

Required:


* Knowledge in DMPK relevant areas such as pharmacokinetics, in vitro ADME assays such as drug metabolism, drug transport, enzyme induction, cellular permeability, and protein and tissue binding.
