Summary

Job duties will include but are not limited to sorting and throwing shells; sorting and stacking pallets; product rework; baling cardboard or plastic; general housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities



* General warehouse clean-up, moving product


* Update of safety markings, painting, cleaning


* Restock and replenish as appropriate


* Perform general warehouse duties.


* Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.


* Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.


* Follow proper general warehouse procedures


* Accountable for proper product rotation in all areas of the warehouse
+ Ensure FIFO is followed (First in, First Out)


* Accountable for damaged product in the warehouse caused by poor work methods (damaging product through poor handling)


* Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds, and climbing.


* Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.


* Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.


* Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.


* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



* Must be 18 years of age or older


* Will require excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Must have ability to follow directions and work independently


* Must be able to move or lift in excess of 50 pounds


* Must understand production and distribution process; have a sense of urgency


* Must have general mathematical aptitude


* Physical requirements: climbing, stooping, squatting, lifting
