Key Responsibilities


* Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist


* Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans


* Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and ADL training


* Document therapy sessions and progress accurately and in a timely manner


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team


* Support discharge planning and caregiver education


* Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and facility standards

Qualifications


* Active California COTA license (required)


* Current CPR certification (required)


* Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting preferred


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills


* Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
