Overview

Support General Manager in managing all aspects of the Rooms Department including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Laundry in order to achieve the guest satisfaction, operating and financial goals of the owner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Deliver on the Westin Brand promise, HEI values and provide a team of dedicated individuals in hospitality to the benefit of our guest and company.


* Laser focused on guest experience and our team.


* Develop policies and procedures that improve our workflow to the benefit or our guests and our internal associates.


* Inspect what you expect and bring about vital improvements to our associate and guest experience.


* Supervise all Rooms Department Managers on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual action plans related to property strategic plan.

Communicate, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff.

Help realize and contribute to Rooms Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.


* Develop and execute Room's division budget and revenue forecasts.

Develop and implement controls for expense management.

Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.


* As a member of the Executive Committee for the property, the Director of Rooms is expected to help create and execute the financial objectives of the hotel.


* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.


* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills


* Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in both rooms and Food and Beverage.


* Bachelor's degree preferred.
