 COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time.

While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range.

We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.


* Sr Technical Analyst - Pay Range: $ 95,200 - $ 123,700


* Technical Analyst II - Pay Range $ 76,000 - $ 96,900


* Technical Analyst I - Pay Range $ 62,500 - $ 76,550

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a skilled and self-directed Senior Technical Analyst to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the systems, applications, models, and data exchanges that support the core functions of SPP’s Reliability Coordination, Tariff Administration, Regional Scheduling, Market Operations, Balancing Authority, and Training services.

 As a Technical Analyst you will:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of SPP’s Energy Management System (EMS) and Source Modeling Tools, oversee model development, real-time data exchanges, and system enhancements in alignment with governing standards and internal policies.

The ideal candidate is experienced, technically adept, and capable of making informed decisions independently—even under pressure.

 Key Responsibilities


* Maintain and enhance SPP’s Network, EMS, and Commercial Models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.


* Support and improve key applications such as State Estimator, Alarm, RTCA, Load Forecasting, and Outage Scheduler.
