Job Description:
Serves as a subject matter and a recognized internal resource on reimbursement best practices and key performance indicators.

Provides status reports to management to keep them informed of ongoing customer service requests and resolutions.

Tracks and conducts follow up on area prior authorization requests.

Establishes protocols for performing ongoing reviews of customer reimbursement requests and escalating complaints.

Ensures consistent and proactive communications with provider representatives and customer service staff to maximize efficiencies.

Authorizes and approves all necessary documentation required to expedite prior authorization requests.

Audits and submits all necessary insurance forms in a timely manner as required by third-party payors for prior authorizations.

Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
