Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Garland, TX is looking for Dietary Aides for our skilled nursing and rehab facility.

Dietary Aide

Status: PRN

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

Some job duties include:


* Distribute and collect menus as necessary.


* Obtain food supplies for next meal.


* Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance


* Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis


* Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.


* Washing Dishes, taking out trash and cleaning dining room.

Requirements


* Previous kitchen/dietary experience preferred


* Strong written and verbal skills


* Excellent customer service


* Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and work well in a team environment


* Must be dependable and demonstrate professional behavior


* Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs
