As a Senior Lead Data Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Data Protection Recovery Team , you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality data architecture solutions for various software applications and platform products.

Job responsibilities


* Lead the onboarding process for new data sources, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.


* Identify the System of Record (SOR) for data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data sources.


* Map data requirements to downstream systems, facilitating efficient data flow and utilization.


* Develop and implement strategies for performing data completeness checks, ensuring data integrity and quality.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.


* Design and maintain data architecture frameworks that support business objectives and scalability.


* Evaluate new and current technologies using existing data architecture standards and frameworks.


* Drive data architecture decisions that impact product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.


* Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on Computer Science or Information Technology concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Proven experience with on-premises data systems and external cloud platforms, particularly AWS.


* Expertise in designing and implementing data architecture solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.


* Advanced knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.


* Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance standards.


* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
