Chemical Reliability Technician

What You Will Do In Your Role


* Perform routine process testing to ensure effective application of chemical programs.


* Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts for mill-owned chemical feed systems.


* Improve long-term reliability across mill-owned chemical systems by building effective asset strategies and executing preventative maintenance.


* Use critical thinking and collaboration to troubleshoot equipment and machinery.


* Support chemical/process trial activities


* Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.


* Work closely with Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Chemical Unloaders, Mill Engineering, and external experts to maintain and improve processes.


* Prioritize work for long-term value and remain flexible to changing conditions.

The Experience You Will Bring


* One(1)or more years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or water treatment setting


* Mechanical repair / troubleshooting knowledge


* High School Diploma or GED


* Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook

What Will Put You Ahead


* Five (5) years or more of experience in the paper industry


* Experience with Asset Strategy Development


* Experience working with chemical applications


* Experience working in laboratory environments
