We are searching for the best talent for a Director Strategy & Innovation in Geel (Belgium, Antwerp region).

At the J&J Innovative Medicine Manufacturing site in Geel a team of 700+ employees is responsible for the manufacturing of API’s and IPI’s for the commercial and clinical innovative product portfolio of J&J IM.

Delivering these products safely, with high quality on time and competitive for patients worldwide.

Supported NTS is about 12B$. 

The Geel site Director Strategy and Innovation partners with the Site Leadership Team, the General Manager and the global organization (DOTS: both BEX as digital leaders) to drive continuous improvement across the Geel manufacturing site and supporting the leadership team in the site’s transformational change as a Launch and Grow site, ensuring best practice sharing and a successful deployment of the BEx methodologies.

The function holder is responsible to deliver the site strategy, helping the Geel site to improve its competitive edge and be the best in delivering API to customers through our Geel 2030 transformational plans, including playing a critical role in leading and accelerating the digital and technology programs, linked to the strategic programs both for the Launch and Grow site as the broader MTO organization.

Sponsor and active participation in competitiveness benchmark exercise (internal and external) to continue building upon the site strategy.

The position participates actively in the Financial Business Plan and looks for opportunities to improve cost and efficiency, translates opportunities into projects and prioritizes as applicable to achieve commitments.

Provides direction to improve operations' reliability.
