Job Title: Dietary Aide
Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center- Bakersfield, CA.
Pay Rate: $16.58 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team.

In this role, you'll play an essential part in preparing and delivering meals to our residents while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:


* Set up and deliver meal trays according to diet orders


* Assist in meal preparation and serving


* Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, work surfaces, and kitchen equipment


* Record dishwashing temperatures and maintain logs


* Store groceries and supplies in a clean and organized manner


* Sweep, mop, and maintain floors and kitchen cleanliness


* Dispose of trash and recyclables properly


* Work cooperatively with kitchen and facility staff to ensure dietary needs are met


* Assist with snacks and nourishments between meals

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler's certificate


* Ability to read and follow recipes and safety instructions


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks


* Previous food service experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus
