Key Responsibilities:


* Oversee all billing, collections, and accounts receivable functions


* Manage resident trust accounts and ensure financial compliance


* Work closely with the admissions, social services, and clinical teams on insurance verifications and authorizations


* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly billing cycles


* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and managed care guidelines


* Prepare and analyze financial reports and participate in budget planning


* Train and supervise business office staff

Qualifications:


* Prior experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing facility is required


* Proficient in Medicare, Medi-Cal, and CalAIM billing processes


* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills


* Effective communicator and team player
