Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Press Operator (3rd Shift), based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

This position’s primary function is to operate the press and all support processes safely and effectively in a manner resulting in a product which meets or exceeds customer requirements while yielding maximum productivity.ovid


* Safe and effective press operation, including identification and elimination of materials containing defects with reference to customer requirements.


* Thorough understanding of all press operations, including the ability to perform effectively at all operator/process stations.


* Utilize all available/applicable test equipment and procedures to ensure conformance to customer requirements.


* Follow standard operating procedures and all relevant safety procedures.


* Keep accurate, current records and related information in a neat and orderly fashion, with an emphasis on basic mathematical operations.


* Practice safe and efficient material handling procedures for both raw materials and finished goods.

 

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: 

Required:  


* Minimum of five years of precision printing press experience.


* In-depth knowledge of press functions and processes with hands-on experience running multi-web presses.


* Identify and perform process-based troubleshooting.


* Make accurate mathematical calculations and read a ruler.


* Basic computer skills.


* Detail oriented and organized with a strong mechanical aptitude.


* Excellent team mindset and skills necessary to clearly communicate.


* Able to lift up to 40-lbs and safely operate hoists.


* Applicants must be United States citizens and be able to demonstrate suitability for Position of Public Trust

We offer generous shift differentials including 20% for 3rd shift.
