The Petroleum Inspector is responsible for performing the necessary volume measurements, sampling, calculations, documentation and reporting which ensures that the customer receives an independent, accurate and complete assessment of quantity / quality of materials.

Perform, by specified methodology, visual observation, volume measurement, temperature measurement, and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, barge tanks, ship tanks, rail tanks, shore tanks, and other vessels.


* Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures.


* Perform, by specified methodology, visual observation, volume measurement, temperature measurement, and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, barge tanks, ship tanks, rail tanks, shore tanks, and other vessels.


* Communicate and coordinate with terminal, transport, and Company personnel to promote smooth execution of duties assigned.


* Organize and coordinate jobs so that services are rendered and reports and samples are submitted, in a timely manner.


* Carry out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures; Quality Management System; Compliance and Ethics Policies; Vision, Mission and Strategy and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.·


* Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures.


* Able to perform by specified methodology the below duties in addition to completing the associated paperwork.


* Visual inspections on lines, pumps, manifolds, shore tanks, rail cars, tank trucks, barges, and ships.
