* BS degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required


* Must have previous internship or lab experience.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:


* BS Degree in Materials Science or Ceramic Engineering is preferred.


* Two (2) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting process control and improvement is highly desired


* Experience in investment casting is preferred, specifically in the areas of slurry production and control, firing of ceramics.


* Knowledge of basic robotic programming.


* Knowledge of MS Office, Minitab, JMP, excellent written and oral communication skills.


* Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Howmet Process Management a plus.

Howmet Aerospace, Engines team seeks a Process Engineer, Monoshell Process Owner! This position is located in Plant 5, Ti-Cast Operation, in Whitehall, Michigan and will support the manufacture of Titanium casting product through process control and improvement initiatives specific to the Monoshell® process.
