Pharmacy Technician

Using a high level of attention to detail, as well as your organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, you'll help ensure the accuracy of each prescription order for each patient we serve.

We are currently looking for technicians who will work Monday thru Friday from 8a - 5p, MST.

Responsibilities:


* Accurately and responsibly prepare prescription orders with additional duties to include but not limited to


* Changing prescription labels,


* Cleaning printers,


* Inventory management,


* Repacking and restocking medications/materials,


* Preparation of drugs for dispensing


* Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and packed.


* Clean and help maintain equipment and work area.


* Assigned additional tasks as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:


* HS diploma or GED.


* 1+ year(s) of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.


* Pharmacy Technician license required in the state of Utah.


* Basic math skills


* Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy, strong attention to detail with good organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions.

Ability and desire to assist team members.


* PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.


* Effective written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements:


* Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.


* Lift up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to adapt in a changing environment


* Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
