What are we looking for?

The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining the quality system of the IH Laboratory.

This position will also have a customer service component and require effective communication with lab personnel, field personnel, and clients.

Shift/Schedule: Monday- Friday 9:30-6:00PM (Overtime and shift flexibility may be required on occasion)

What you'll do:


* Generate and maintain Work Instructions (WI) and Technical Operating Procedures (TOP)


* Maintain WI/TOP manuals and logs in each lab


* Track and maintain accreditations, certifications, and licenses (e.g., AIHA, NVLAP, state-specific)


* Manage proficiency testing submissions and regulatory renewals


* Monitor new and updated regulations; ensure laboratory compliance with applicable standards


* Assist with annual internal audits and the coordination of external audits


* Review control charts and resolve out-of-control data trends


* Identify and investigate systematic issues through root cause analysis


* Recommend and implement corrective actions for nonconformances
