Weekend Laundry Aide - Part-Time

Are you looking for a meaningful part-time role that offers a sense of purpose and a supportive environment? Join our team as a Weekend Laundry Aide, where you'll play a vital role in keeping our residents comfortable and cared for—one freshly folded sheet at a time.
What You'll Do:
* Help create a clean, cozy environment by providing residents with fresh linens and clothing
* Make laundry day easier for residents by collecting, sorting, treating, washing, drying, and folding items with care
* Ensure each item is in great condition—removing any that don't meet our quality standards
* Label new residents' clothing to keep everything organized and personal
* Deliver freshly laundered items directly to residents' rooms, brightening their day
* Follow all sanitary and safety processes to keep yourself and others safe
* Keep laundry supplies well-stocked and organized
* Report any equipment issues so we can keep everything running smoothly

What You'll Bring:
* A high school diploma or GED
* One year of experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred (but not required—we'll train the right person)
* A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
The Work Environment:
You'll be working in a calm, supportive setting where teamwork is valued.
You'll use commercial-grade washers and dryers while maintaining a low to moderate noise level.

Summary of Benefits

Generous paid time off for vacation accruing at 4 hours a month, 48 FT or 40 PT annually recurring sick day hours prorated based on hire date, and 7 paid Holidays each year.
