Oakwood Gardens, a skilled nursing facility in Fresno, CA, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for the PM shift (8 hours).

Key Responsibilities:


* Provide daily care and assistance to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans


* Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, weights, and monitor changes in condition


* Assist with hygiene, grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs


* Maintain accurate, descriptive documentation and report incidents promptly


* Ensure resident rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready for admissions


* Promote resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times


* Respond promptly to resident calls and provide timely care


* Participate in shift reports and coordinate with nursing staff


* Assist in transporting residents, preparing for exams/tests, and other facility tasks


* Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies

Qualifications:


* High school education or equivalent (minimum 10th grade)


* Must have an active California CNA certification


* CPR certification preferred


* Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently


* Strong communication and documentation skills


* Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements:


* Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds


* Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands


* Occasional kneeling, crouching, and reaching


* Ability to assist in emergency resident evacuation if needed
