Senior Azure DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Automation

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain & upgrade CI/CD implementations and automation
• Help remove technical blockers and provide technical guidance to team members on DevOps implementations
• Provide guidance on Infrastructure topics to Architects and/or Product Development Teams
• Work with the Azure Landing Zone architects to design new features
• Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and implement new requirements from the backlog
• Consolidate & continuously update documentation/wiki & how-to guides Qualifications The candidate is expected to have the following technical skills and experience:

• Expert level knowledge of Azure Cloud including the following: • Cloud networking knowledge covering macro and micro-segmentation, Virtual Networks/VPCs, sub-netting, route tables, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, IPsec, Load Balancing.

• Network services knowledge: DHCP, DNS, AWS Route53/ Azure Private DNS Zones, NTP, Azure Traffic Manager • Strong, working knowledge of Configuration and Infrastructure as Code concepts • Authentication, Directory Services, LDAP and IAM: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Certificate Services, PKI, Single Sign-On, AWS IAM.

• Cloud storage knowledge covering Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Blobs, Azure Files • Cloud serverless infrastructure with Azure LogicApps, Azure Functions, and Azure WebApps • Cloud messaging knowledge covering Azure Notification Hub, Azure EventGrid, Azure ServiceBus, Azure EventHub, IoT Hub
• Knowledge of tools: Github Actions, JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint
• Expert knowledge of Docker and Container services; with specific experience with Docker Compose, and Dockerfile to build and manage container images.
• Familiar with non-functional requirements - Logs, Backup, DRP, Resilient Design
• Have a service-oriented attitude (flexible, personable, and approachable)
• Knowledge of agile development practices (SCRUM, SAFe)
• Nice to have: Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305)

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have : Microsoft Azure certifications preferred (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305).

• 7+ years' experience engineering/operating IT Infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD strategies in Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure & governance (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong experience in provisioning, configuring, and deploying Azure infrastructure, Azure policies, creating CI/C D pipelines, release management and IaC with Terraform
