For this position to be successful, the incumbent should have:
* High School Degree or GED equivalent from an accredited institution, or minimum 3 years of process technician or process engineer experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a metal manufacturing facility.
* This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S.
person status.
ITAR defines U.S.
person as an U.S.
Citizen, U.S.
Permanent Resident (i.e.
'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
For this position to be successful, preference is given to candidates with:
* A Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
* Minimum 3 years of experience working with product function, testing, design, continuous improvement, and process control tools including SPC, Control Plans, Gage R & R's, and other statistical techniques.
* Minimum 3 years of experience with statistical experimental design techniques.
* Previous experience in a unionized environment.
Working Conditions
This position involves minimal to moderate exposure to risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions.
Work is normally performed in a shared work environment divided between the shop floor and an interior work space.
While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing full PPE to protect from mobile equipment and hot materials when on the shop floor.
