Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Child Program Services Analyst

Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently hiring for an IV&V Analyst in the government Health and Human Services space to support our Program Modernization division.

This is a remote opportunity, though travel up to 50% of the time will be required for the selected individual.

The IV&V Analyst is responsible for supporting the independent assessments of large system modernization project during system design, development, implementation, and operations phases to ensure that systems and project processes meet industry standards and are consistent with project requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.

- Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, is on time, and within budget.

- Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents.

- Track the status and due dates of projects.

- Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects.

- Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports that could include; work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity, and other reports as needed.

- Facilitate regular meetings and reviews.

- Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures.

- Reports to the to the IV&V Project Manager.

- Supports the IV&V project team by participating in the activities that provide independent assessments of the system development/implementation/M&O project and its governance which includes:

- Identifying risks and issues.
