Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work on ISO-20022 CBPR+ and Payment Technology Modernization projects in an Engineering role.

Work as an Automation Engineer on designing and implementing automated regression, integration, and system testing.

Work on both Mainframe and User Interface applications automation.

Work on Automation tools such as UiPath, JMeter, and IntelliJ with programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, Java, Python, VB Script and Groovy.

Work on CICD tools such as Git and Bitbucket.

Analyze and prepare the Test Conditions, Test Cases and Test Data for System testing, Regression testing, and Integration testing as well as production deployment checkouts.

Work with the offshore team on project planning and execution along with conducting knowledge sharing sessions to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Waterfall SDLC; Apache Kafka; Groovy; Python; Java; Javascript; SQL; XML; JSON; REST; MQ; COBOL; CICS, DB2, VSAM; Cucumber; Selenium; Jmeter; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Jira; and Confluence.
