The Clinical Support Lead is required to assist the PIP Clinical Lead in performance managing performance management advice and feedback to the Supply Chain Partners to supply a quality professional service to standards of service delivery and performance indicators consistent with contract needs.

Clinical Support Leads ensure professional standards are maintained in all medical work through audit, feedback and Support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Joint responsibility, with the Clinical Delivery Manager and the Supply Chain Delivery team for the delivery of service and achievement of all performance targets for each of the 3 SCP.


* To provide clinical input into the review calls weekly, monthly and Quarterly with all Partners.


* To be responsible for action on customer survey outcomes and maintenance of medical standards of customer service.


* To provide support and leadership in the delivery of change programmes, proactively leading the team through the change process.


* Ability to AQA reports from the SCP and give credible feedback and guidance throughout this process.


* To ensure that clinical governance and standards required by the GMC, NMC and HCPC are maintained


* Provide Functional assessments with Essential Qualifications & Experience.


* Registration and continuous professional development should be maintained for self in accordance with the requirements of Post Registration and Practice (PREP) standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the CME requirement for revalidation with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).


* Ensure that professional practice standards and "best practice" are maintained in all areas of work.

Become and maintain the link across all SCP and Maximus to deliver the contract.


* Proven ability to achieve agreed targets and standards whilst managing own workload.


* Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff across SCP and the wider Maximus business.
