Your Role: Mechanical Technician - Packaging and Manufacturing Equipment
As a Mechanical Technician at Elanco's animal health facility, you will be a key member of the team ensuring that our packaging and manufacturing equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical mechanical systems in a healthcare setting to meet safety and compliance standards.
Your Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on packaging and manufacturing mechanical equipment and systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs to ensure continuous operation.
* Assist in the installation and setup of new packaging and manufacturing mechanical equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
* Collaborate with team members to improve the reliability and performance of equipment.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Technical degree in Engineering or Science preferred, or a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical field.
* Required Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly in healthcare packaging or manufacturing environments.
* Top 2 skills: Proficiency with mechanical tools and equipment; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Experience working in a healthcare packaging or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance requirements.
* Familiarity with safety standards specific to packaging and manufacturing equipment.

* Ability to work in a dynamic, high-stakes setting.
