Typical day as an Electrician


* As multi skilled Electrician, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.


* Testing and inspection, electrical installation and repairs     


* Delivering high-quality and compliant work.


* Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.


* Working in our properties across the North Lakes.

 You have


* City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent. 


* Qualified to 18^th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent.


* Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing and inspection within housing.


* Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.


* Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).


* A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.

Job details


* Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on call payment.


* Our office base is in Maryport and the wider team cover the North Lakes. 


* You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.


* You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.


* You have a full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
