What are we looking for?

The Project Civil Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications to these standards

What you'll do:


* Prepare and review Engineering reports, project plans and specifications prepared by others


* Assign work /tasks to staff


* Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments


* Prepare proposals to provide professional services


* Review recommendations with Principal Consultant


* Maintain and leverage client relationships and develop new project opportunities


* Attend client site meetings


* Communicate effectively with client and project teams


* Work on one or multiple projects at a time


* Train Technicians and other Technical staff


* May perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests


* May work both in the field and laboratory regularly

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited Engineering / ABET School


* 5+ years of applicable civil/geotechnical engineering experience


* PE License


* Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record


* Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication


* Ability to work off shifts and overtime


* May travel up to 25% of time

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:


* Experience and/or understanding of construction materials testing
