Overview

Assist with guest needs and requests to ensure positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Answer questions regarding or making reservations for dining, entertainment, sports events, recreation, tours, health and beauty, childcare, transportation, cultural activities, shopping, and other services.


* Provide directions to hotel facilities or events.


* Notify/assist guests of receipt of facsimiles, mail, messages, and packages.


* Maintain current information and materials regarding hotel, services, and attractions.


* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.


* Perform any other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills


* High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.


* One year experience in a public contact position.


* Hotel experience preferred.


* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and associates.


* Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
