Firmware Project Engineer

Based in our Shakopee, Minnesota location, you will create world-class embedded software for pressure and temperature industrial process measurement devices which are used in safety and mission-critical applications.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


* Working with an interdisciplinary team


* Performing Object-Oriented Design and coding of real-time embedded software


* Participating in software requirements activities, including elicitation, analysis, and documentation


* Participating in extensive peer reviews


* Creating and executing unit and integration tests


* Debugging software and hardware/software integration issues

For This Role, You Will Need:


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School


* Two (2) years of applicable experience


* Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering


* An ABET-accredited engineering degree


* Good communication skills and the ability to participate as a member of a team


* Experience with related technologies (C/C++, Object-Oriented Design, UML, real-time operating systems, microcontrollers, serial communication protocols such as SPI, SCI, IIC)
