The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners


* New grads welcome to apply.


* One (1) year of Emergency Medicine experience as an Advanced Provider preferred.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.


* Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.


* Current IL state license is a plus.

MacNeal Hospital - Berwyn, Illinois


* A community hospital with some academic overtones.


* MacNeal Hospital has its own FM/IM residency and EM residents from Loyola & UIC rotate here.


* Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Magnet-designated.


* 374-bed facility with a 26-bed Emergency Department.


* Annual volume of 55,000 with a 22% admit rate.


* Epic EMR with Dragon dictation.


* All core sub-specialty backup available.
