Get to Know This Role

The Director of Engineering will lead the corporate engineering strategy for Sierra Nevada Brewing.

This role will focus on capital projects, process optimization, equipment and facility improvements, and sustainability initiatives across multiple brewery locations.

The Director of Engineering will work closely with brewery leadership, operations, and technical teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and long-term infrastructure planning.

This role does not oversee day-to-day maintenance but will provide technical expertise, project management, and strategic leadership in brewery engineering.

For starters, we’re offering $143,890 to $224,469 base compensation for this role.

Individual offers are based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What You Will Do



* Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, ensuring they align with company growth objectives.


* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet operational requirements.


* Partner with brewery leadership, operations, and finance teams to align engineering projects with business objectives.

Serve as the corporate engineering subject matter expert, providing guidance and best practices across all brewery locations.


* Drive sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, TTB, etc.).
