What you will do
The Facilities Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems, coordinating inspections, tests, and maintenance of facilities equipment, overseeing maintenance logs and documentation in a safe and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and execute preventive maintenance and calibrations programs for all facilities equipment and systems.
• Lead and oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and other maintenance systems as needed (HVAC, purified water, compressed air, boilers, chillers, building controls and fire protection systems).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Implement and troubleshoot advanced electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on facilities machinery and equipment to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Utilize advanced computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for efficient work order and preventive maintenance management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs, part requisitions, and preventive maintenance inspection records.
• Complete safety trainings and proper utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
• Support other maintenance activities as required such as office moves and other general maintenance support requests.
• Availability to support overtime and off hours as required.
