Clerk II - Transportation - Weekend Day Shift - Lebanon, IN

Weekend Day Shift - Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 5:00 am - 5:00 pm (Off Days are Mon thru Friday)

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Create inbound delivery appointments and maintain appointment schedule


* Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail


* Research and correct transaction errors


* Create and manage reports and maintain accurate records


* Handle domestic and international shipping documents


* Update yard management system with carrier trailer departures


* Communicate with commercial carriers


* Check in commercial carriers and update yard maintenance system with arrivals


* Perform trailer yard management by validating on-site trailers and updating trailer information

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 1 year of warehouse experience


* Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner


* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

It'd be great if you also have:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed


* Customer service experience with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office


* Transportation and Yard Management System (YMS) experience


* Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

This job requires the ability to:


* Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights


* Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull


* Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time


* Handle or manage tools or equipment


* Adjust focus and demonstrate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception


* Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
