Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking aDirector , Finance - ET&S located in Wichita, KS .

This role will lead the business finance team in our Equipment, Technology, and Services (ET&S) business.

This role is a valu ed member of the ET&S leadership team and will work directly with the President of ET&S in a thought-partner / CFO -type capacity to advance the business vision.

Y ou will be expected to bring the necessary economic and financial knowledge to the leadership team to improve decision making and maximize value creation for our customers, suppliers, shareholders and all other constituents.

The successful candidate will be a Principled Entrepreneur™ who creatively contribut es to the vision development and long-range planning processes for the business and assists in the development of clear strategies and priorities to capture opportunities that increase long-term profitability .

This will be accomplished by the personal application of our management framework, Principle Based Management (PBM) and by influencing its application throughout the business .

This role is also a member of the KES Finance and Accounting leadership team responsible for advancing the capabilit y's talent position and strategic priorities .

What You Will Do


* Build strategic partnerships throughout the organization to align priorities, improve decision making, act, and hold others accountable to outcomes


* Build a high-performing business finance team that supports ET&S' global organization and that partners with the broader finance and accounting organization to provide financial domain expertise


* Apply your knowledge from other industries and business models to analyze current business performance, to develop vision and strategies and to originate ideas


* Understand and be able to effectively articulate business objectives, insights and market drivers


* Drive application of PBM frameworks, dimensions, principles, economic tools (marginal analysis, DMF, opportunity cost, risk optimization etc.) and key financial metrics (EVA, NPV, ROCC, NIAT etc.) to improve the decision making and results throughout the business.

Examples include pricing, project acceptance, capital investments, manufacturing, supply chain, SG&A and operating cost benchmarking and management, etc.

Develop usable economic models that improve the day-to-day decision making of the team
