Methods and Tools Engineer

This position joins the Power Systems North America Engineering Data Industrialization Team.

The team focuses on utilizing the end to end data created during a Power Systems Equipment Project lifecycle to enhance quality, productivity, and capacity in the Power Systems Engineering and Production processes.

Responsibilities:


* Act as L2 support for deployed industrial data transformation solutions.


* Validate bug fixes and improvements from software vendors.


* Support "Go Live" of tools and processes for new sites and products.


* Collaborate with Order Engineering, Quality, Methods, and Adv Mfg to drive continuous improvement with innovative tools and systems.


* Maintain relationships with key stake holders in each Power Systems NAM site.


* Identify opportunities for new initiatives

Qualifications

Requirements:


* Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.


* Ability to understand complex problems and effectively break them down into smaller, manageable components.


* Experience with Schneider Electric's processes and products


* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a continuous improvement mindset.


* Six Sigma certification is a plus.


* Basic knowledge of REST APIs and distributed software architecture.


* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.


* Experience working in an engineer to order Equipment facility preferred.
