Patient Access Representative, Ambulatory Float

Work Schedule :

The is a full time, 1.0 FTE position.

Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM -4:00 PM with some weekend and holiday requirements.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Your primary work location will be at the Digestive health clinic when not covering other locations.

You must be flexible to cover West side and East side locations.

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative - Ambulatory to:


* E nter and verify demographic and insurance information, identify and collect patient financial obligations, and register or admit patients.


* Promote a positive patient and family experience, exhibit empathy, engage in compassionate collections, and demonstrate strong communication skills.


* Cover a variety of clinic locations and hours as needed.

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Associate's Degree in Business, Finance.

Health Information Management or related field Preferred

Work Experience



* 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field Required


* 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial or insurance related field Preferred
