Position Summary
Clean Harbors is looking for a hands-on Facility Technician I to join our team.

In this role, you'll perform critical environmental operations such as drum and tank farm management, forklift operations, and waste movement—all while ensuring compliance with DOT, health, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily facility operations including:

Drum movement, opening, dumping

Loading/unloading trucks per DOT segregation rules

Tank farm and filter press operations

Proper storage and inventory management

Operate a forklift safely (daily safety checks required)

Complete and submit waste tracking paperwork

Follow and comply with all health and safety SOPs

Maintain permit-required area compliance standards

Meet or exceed production and safety goals

Maintain a clean, organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
Required: High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Forklift training certification

Required: 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain)

Experience: 0-3 years in an industrial, environmental, or warehouse setting
