is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Rocky Mount.

NC location.

Responsibilities



* Perform a variety of duties to independently perform dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing, and test inspection of diversified components, assemblies and completed systems that are fabricated, installed and shipped in compliance with Engineering approved designs.


* Ensure quality detailed inspection is in compliance with applicable standards and technical data.


* Record applicable data and maintain documents associated with job functions.


* Generate, write and close nonconformance reports as required.


* Perform internal and external inspections as needed.


* Participate in the resolution of corrective actions and verification of actions implemented



* Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, blueprints, schematics and technical data.


* Firm understanding and use of precision measuring devices and techniques needed to measure component characteristics.


* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications



* Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Oracle experience preferred


* Working knowledge with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.


* Experienced with CMM equipment is a plus, but not required.


* High school diploma required.
