Technical Antenna Manager ASCO Queretaro

Key Responsibilities


* Assumes hierarchical responsibility for a department


* Hierarchically Responsible for a Technical Team composed by 2 main areas:


* 1- Manufacturing Change Owner


* 2- Technical Antenna


* Very high level of cooperation with their Business Unit.


* Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement.


* Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within the sector or department.

Main Activities


* Leads the liaison between plant & R&D for all technical topics.


* Acts as technical referent for equipment problems, and contribute to the resolution of technique problems Provide Technical expertise support to the Quality team (nonconformity analysis, root cause analysis, Quality


* specification)


* Coordinates local technical data updates and transfers (mechanical diagram, electrical schemes, BOM)


* Leads collection and filtering of Equipment issues and suggest corrective actions to the BOC as BPM (BOC Plant Member)


* Manages design under R&D delegation, or in case of local/legacy product Make prototypes under R&D delegation.


* Ensure the local Product-Process knowledge, contribute to technical problem solving (manufacturing or customer)


* Guarantee Product Performance Compliance & contribute to Product Robustness in the plant.


* Leads the MCO & ECO mission (Manufacturing / Engineering Change Owner) for his plant.


* Is the interface with the Business Unit (leader of PEP process).


* Manage all product evolutions faced by the department, keeping the link with Business Unit as well as piloted plants.


* Be the representative of the Board of Change (BOC) in the plant in order to manage Product Evolution Process (PEP).


* Keep and update TEMPO/NextGen PCM (Product Change Management) information and database.


* Ensure quick reaction of technical teams in order to reduce impact in production.


* Challenge any source of Productivity (QVE, Quality cost, ...) in cooperation with MPL (IMP5).


* Assure technical team with high level of Skills and Competences for the range of products and/or technology to master.


* Be responsible for people management including : goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well being.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


* Fluency in English (written and business speaking).


* At least 10 year of experience on Engineering role.


* Proficiency on Excel & Autocad.


* Experience using Adept & JDE (preferred).


* Self-initiative and proven experience on following up on multiple topics with attention to details.


* Strong influencing skills and team work.
