Ethos Biosciences
At Ethos Biosciences, we offer products and services through American Bionostica for lateral flow products, Astral Diagnostics for histology and hematology stains and reagents, Astral Rx for pharmaceutical formulations, and Exocell for research and clinical nephrology assays.
Our operations and areas of expertise allows us to seamlessly deliver contract development and cGMP manufacturing services.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
Chemical Operator is responsible for:
Utilizing proper methods for mixing chemicals into solutions and dry applications, most notably stains and dyes, during the manufacturing process.
Ensuring high productivity, reproducibility and quick product changes are met with chemical production processes that comply with rigorous quality and safety standards as well as strict environmental regulations.
Accountabilities in this role:
* Weighing chemicals to specific formulated quantities
* Following all manufacturing instructions on formulation sheets while using proper compounding techniques to ensure product quality.
* Working knowledge of pumps, mixers, scales, and use of a forklift.
* Ability to set-up, load, operate, and monitor all blending equipment, mixing equipment, pumps, and filtration units.
* Following all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
* Cleaning of tanks, pumps, transfer lines, hoses, equipment, and chemical containers used.
* Proper sampling of batches submitted to the lab for evaluation.
* Adherence of Safety Data Sheets
* Maintaining proper documentation and electronic records.
* In process testing and batch adjustments
* Adaptable, willing, and expected to support all operational tasks within the facility as requested
* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* 1-2 years Chemical Operator experience preferred or 2-3 years Ethos manufacturing experience
* Ability to work standing for long periods of time with frequent stooping or bending
* Ability to move/lift up to 100 pounds
* Forklift operator certified
* Ability to be detail oriented, quality focused, and self-motivated
* Fluent in the English language with the ability to read and write
* Ability to work in coordination with other team members to accomplish goals
* Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and standards
* Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
* Willing, adaptable, and expected to support all operational tasks with the facility as requested
* Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes.
