Maintenance Mechanic Tech I

We are seeking a Mechanic Tech I for our Recycle Plant located in Yadkinville, NC

How will you play an integral role?

A Maintenance Mechanic Tech is to ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance repairs on various production machines within the Recycle Plant.  Also responsible for completing corrective maintenance in a timely safe manner to ensure plant equipment operates efficiently.

What is my earning potential?

We now offer new competitive hourly rates starting at $20.72, with top pay up to $23.02.  In addition, our shift premiums $1.00 for 12-hour night shifts.

Do you offer flexible shifts?

We do! We offer 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.  This position is a 12-hour night shift from 7pm – 7am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

 Are you qualified for the position?


* Patrol recycle area and determine if machines are functioning properly


* Repair bin rope conveyors, vacuum leaks, and conveyor belts


* Perform general housekeeping duties and assist operators as requested by resource technician.


* Enter data into computer system specific to machine fluid changes, repairs, and downtime of machine.


* Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance


* Recycle experience is a plus


* Willing to assist in other areas when necessary


* Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations

Education


* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience


* Strong mechanical background


* 2 years related experience preferred
