TAC - Facilities Maintenance Technician - TAC

Position Summary 

Touchstone Advanced Composites, a subsidiary of Core Natural Resources, is a rapidly growing supplier of high-tech tools and composite parts to the aerospace, space, defense, and other industries.

 We are seeking motivated individuals for the position of Facility Cleaning Technician who enjoy hands-on work, attention to detail, and working in a team environment to produce high-quality results.

The Facility Cleaning Technician is responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, housekeeping, and minor repairs to the industrial building, grounds, and maintenance equipment. 

Target Responsibilities

•    Clean assigned facilities for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
•    Safely operate common cleaning equipment and products associated with OSHA standards.
•    Performs some repairs and maintenance of building by patching walls and doors, painting walls and trim, and other minor maintenance tasks.
•    Assist in the physical maintenance and cleaning of the manufacturing space maintaining an area free of CFOAM dust and other particulates. 
•    Landscape work, to include mowing and weed removal.
•    Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors by hand or machine; cleans carpet and/or furniture. 
•    Empty all trash receptables, replace liners, and place in dumpster.
•    Washes windows, screens, sills, woodwork, doors, desks, walls, and ceilings. 
•    Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
•    Collects and disposes of waste and assists in keeping outside premises in an orderly condition. 
•    Enforce safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Required Skills and Experience 
•    Must be at least 18 years of age. 
•    Strong attention to detail to ensure building is cleaned to the highest standards.
•    Ability to perform custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness in the workplace. 
•    Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills.
•    Comfortable with working an entire shift on your feet and work in physically demanding environments.
•    Ability to bend, carry, climb, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds. 
•    2+ years’ experience in custodial, commercial cleaning or general labor.
•    Knowledge of cleaning and waxing compounds, and insecticides, floor buffers and custodial equipment, and basic tools utilized in building maintenance.
