Overview

The Senior Manager, Balance Sheet Compliance is responsible for ensuring the continuous completion of monthly balance sheet reviews with consistent scoring for the proper evaluation of performance.

All potential or actual financial risks are denoted within the review and communicated with the Senior Finance Team for appropriate resolution and follow-up.

The Senior Manager of Balance Sheet Compliance is also responsible for the Administration of the HEI online balance sheet reconciliation program ensuring accessibility and end user set-up, training, and compliance.

In addition, the role is responsible for the compilation of the month Risk Assessment report prepared for Senior Management is assessing aged items, completeness, and financial risks uncovered during the reviews.

Travel may be required up to 15-25% of the time.

Job Responsibilities:


* Develops policies and procedures to ensure reviews are consistent, complete, and deficiencies are documented and follow-up mechanism implemented until final resolution is evident.


* Assists Transition properties with initial balance sheet setup.


* Assists properties with balance sheet completion, as assigned.


* Prepares Monthly Status Report and Risk Assessment for Senior Finance Leadership.


* Assist with access or extracts of B/S Reconciliations for Owner's or External Auditors.


* Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.


* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Finance, Accounting or related field.


* Understanding of Hotel Accounting, previous hotel Regional or Corporate DOF experience preferred.
