Lead, Quality Systems - 1st Shift

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Our Quality Systems lead is a hybrid position that splits their time between two areas in Quality; Training and Internal Auditing.

You will be responsible for executing effective employee training assessments and for conducting internal audits on processes for compliance with requirements.

This is a 100% on site hourly position.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Evaluate processes for compliance with quality requirements


* Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules


* Conduct quality audits


* Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement


* Conduct hands on training of employees on operational standards and procedures


* Conduct associate training assessments


* Conduct associate competency assessments


* Recording operational proficiencies aligned with skill assessments


* Documenting non-conformance, observations and recommendations for improvement


* Preparing and presenting quality audit and training status reports to management

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you'll need:


* High School diploma or GED


* High degree of computer literacy with Google tools (e.g.

Docs, Sheets, Slides)


* 2 years of relevant work experience


* Ability to mentor and coach employees


* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational details


* Excellent leadership and communication skills


* Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.


* Able to work well with people at all levels of the organization.


* Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team of trainers & auditors


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


* Ability to read standard operating procedures and conduct hands on training of employees as needed

It'd be great if you also had:


* Associate of Bachelor's Degree


* 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities


* At least 1-2 years experience as a quality auditor in a related industry experience


* Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems

This job requires the ability to:


* Lift up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
