Greenfield Director
What will you do?
As the Program Director for Main Automation Contractor and Greenfield Projects, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex automation projects.
Your role will involve coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering projects within budget.
Oversee and monitor program activities and deliverables for timely completion, schedule adherence and cost control, while ensuring project deliverables meet requirements with high customer satisfaction.
Ensure project teams are completing program directives and identify problem areas or concerns and resolve these issues in a timely manner.
Develop and define program deliverables, along with key input from other departments, for defining the project schedule and establishing an agreed project milestone payment schedule.
Review required documentation deliverables.
May assist or lead in the development of system specifications, FAT and SAT documents.
Perform as the main point of contact for the program customer(s).
Provide commercial leadership for projects and oversee the engineering of software solutions, control systems, and all project deliverables to meet or exceed program objectives.
Provide timely reporting and updates to senior delivery and sales leadership.
Provide program financial and business program KPI updates monthly.
* Assist with hiring, training and be a motivating mentor to program staff.
* Lead large group discussions to answer questions and remedy complaints.
* Create and nurture effective communication within the organization and customer.
* Lead and manage automation projects from inception to completion, with a focus on greenfield sites.
* Initiate and set goals for programs based on the organization's strategic objectives.
* Plan programs from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines, and milestones.
* Develop operational budgets and qualifications.
* Work with the sales organization to increase market share and win greenfield opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Manage vendor engagement and market surveys to pre-qualify automation suppliers and contractors.
