(SENIOR) POLICY ANALYST, GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS AND POLICY

Contract: Full Time

Overall, purpose of this Job:

The (Senior) Policy Analyst in Government Affairs & Policy will help establish and implement Government Affairs strategies and partnerships to position J&J as a trusted partner in EU policymaking and create a favorable environment for healthcare innovation.

This role will guide engagement with EU institutions, trade associations, coalitions, and EU partners.

The Associated Manager will maintain an extensive knowledge of EU policy-making that affects organizational objectives.

They will be an active member of the EU Office team, contributing to the following objectives:


* Lead Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Agenda, crafting key policy files enabling business growth and development.


* Integrate Johnson & Johnson's voice in the EU, aligning and coordinating company engagement with EU policymakers and stakeholders.


* Excel for a best-in-class Government Affairs, driving simplification and bringing data-driven innovation to the government affairs practice.

Key Responsibilities:



* Help build the EU Office and its team with strong foundations.

This involves ensuring the office has the resources to effectively engage with EU policymakers, partners, and industry associations.

By fostering a collaborative environment, the EU Office can drive impactful policy initiatives and maintain J&J's position as a trusted partner in the EU.


* Serve as a resource on EU government affairs and policy issues and contribute improvements to policy initiatives in support of business objectives.


* Evaluate the current EU regulatory environment and political landscape to inform business strategies for growth and visibility, through executive briefings on key EU policies, analyzing policy changes and assessing potential impact.


* Help establish and implement complex advocacy strategies that encompass company goals and policy positions by applying metrics, project management tools, and impact analyses.
